Online shop terms

Prices on the website are published subject to error. The Icelandic Literary Society reserves the right to cancel orders, for example because of a pricing mistake or if an item turns out to be sold out.

Orders are processed as quickly as possible. Goods are not dispatched until payment has been received.

Orders are distributed by Iceland Post, and the delivery, liability and carriage terms of Iceland Post apply to delivery of the goods. The Icelandic Literary Society therefore bears no responsibility for damage that may occur to goods in transit. If goods are damaged between dispatch from the society's online shop and receipt by the recipient, the buyer bears the loss.

Goods are not refunded, but they may be returned or exchanged at our shop at Hagatorg, provided they are undamaged. The receipt for the purchase must be presented. Carriage and postage charges are not refunded.

All prices in the online shop include VAT, and invoices are issued including VAT.

The seller undertakes to treat all information provided by the buyer in connection with the transaction in full confidence. Information from the buyer will under no circumstances be handed to a third party.
